Powered by Promise Robotics' transformative production lines for timber-based panelized construction, the new plant enables our group of homebuilding partners to significantly increase the capacity and speed of home production within the fast-growing region of Calgary, AB.
We're reshaping the future of homebuilding—blending robotics, automation, and precision engineering to deliver beautiful, energy-efficient homes faster and more affordable than ever before. As we expand operations, we're looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Construction Supervisor to lead field execution and ensure the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies with tried-and-true construction practices.

What you will do:

  • Lead day-to-day construction operations, ensuring crews work collaboratively to meet department goals.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of company products (models/options/lots/specs) and warranty programs.
  • Own construction performance metrics: identify variances, recommend solutions, and implement corrective actions.
  • Plan and manage deliverable schedules to complete projects on time and within budget; act as the main point of contact.
  • Allocate resources effectively and monitor trade/crew performance to keep work progressing to plan.
  • Ensure company quality standards are consistently met across the full construction process.
  • Champion health & safety compliance, enforce standards/procedures, and promote individual accountability.
  • Train and develop employees on new techniques, safety, policies, and procedures; coach and mentor the team.
  • Manage hiring and people leadership per company policy (interview, hire, assign work, evaluate performance, recommend compensation, and administer discipline).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve construction issues quickly and maintain high internal/external customer service through timely communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement of construction processes and procedures.
  • Manage construction department tools, supplies, and assigned company property; complete other duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of experience in residential or light commercial construction.
  • Strong project management and field supervision skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes and residential construction safety codes
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on-time and within budget.
  • Comfortable working in an environment where tech meets trades.
  • Familiarity with Alberta Building Code and local permitting processes.
  • Completion or working towards Master Home Builder accreditation through the Professional Home Builders’ Institute would be an asset.
  • Understanding fundamentals of contracts and experience in managing contractors under the terms of a contract.
  • Able to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including laborers, technical, professional and upper management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge or prefab is an asset
