About the Role:

In this role, you’ll be the critical bridge between our customers’ complex engineering challenges and our AI agent platform. You'll dive deep into the world of our customers' product development, understanding their key performance requirements, design constraints, analysis methods, and in-house systems. With this knowledge, you’ll be the voice of the engineering customer inside P-1 AI, steering the development of our digital asset libraries and platform capabilities, as well as building systems engineering models and assets.

This role is remote and you can be based anywhere in the US or Canada (where you must have existing work authorization). You will be expected to travel to our San Francisco office for co-working sessions approximately one week out of every six. (If you are already located in the SF Bay Area or are interested in relocation, you are of course welcome to work out of our SF office.)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive domain exploration and customer engagement, developing a deep, multi-layered understanding of specific product design challenges, performance requirements, and design constraints

• Translate customer use cases into priorities for our AI's knowledge representation, digital asset library development, simulation capabilities, and software integration strategies

• Define parametric design studies for the generation of synthetic data for AI training

• Build systems engineering models and assets for customer product domains

• Act as a translator bridging communication between customer engineering teams, our internal technical teams, and product stakeholders
  

Skills:

• Demonstrated systems engineering background with experience in complex, multi-disciplinary technical domains (aerospace, advanced manufacturing, robotics, automotive, or similar applications preferred)

• Experience with model-based systems engineering and generally the application of system-level simulation models to the product development process

• Exceptional ability to rapidly comprehend and synthesize complex technical information across thermo-electro-mechanical design, simulation methodologies, and performance analysis

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
