📐 About this role
You will shape the strategy and playbooks to drive increased adoption, retention, and growth of our mid-market customer base. You will develop, own, and refine the renewals playbook with an eye towards maximizing GRR and NRR within this segment. You will engage directly with customers throughout the year to transact renewals and close cross-sell/upsell opportunities. In addition to being responsible for renewals, you will also define and execute a proactive, data-driven, and scalable engagement strategy help these customers to adopt and realize value from the platform. Over time, you will have the opportunity to shape and build out the team to meet the needs of our growing business.
🦸🏻♀️ Your responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end renewals process for the mid-market business, with the goal of securing full and on-time renewals. Drive the renewal process from initial reach out to negotiation to closure.
Work in close collaboration with Customer Success, Sales, Ops, and Deal Desk to maintain a forward-looking view of account health, risk, and growth opportunities. Work to retain customer contracts and support accounts growth.
Maintain an accurate rolling forecast of renewals in your book of business
Negotiate renewal terms to align with the customer and the company goals
Handle escalations relating to contract questions, negotiations, and customer requests
Enhance the renewals process playbook on an ongoing basis, addressing process gaps and finding new areas of improvement
Drive partnership between Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and other cross-functional peers to launch scaled adoption engagements including digital and one-to-many engagements, using customer data insights as a foundation.
⭐️ Is this you?
5+ years in a renewals or account management role in Enterprise B2B SaaS
Past experience building and/or operating a renewals management function preferred
Experience building and/or operating a scaled customer success motion, including digital-first strategies
Strong negotiation, objection handling, and closing skills
Effective communicator, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Motivated, proactive, driven and results-oriented
Strong internal cross-functional partnering and collaboration skills
