We’re looking for best in class engineers to join our existing top-notch team. When you join Untether AI, you will be part of the team that creates innovative hardware and delivers industry leading AI performance and efficiency. Utilizing non Von Neumann techniques, you will help propel sustainable AI inference.
As part of this talented team of engineers, you are able to - and are excited to - architect, implement, verify and productize custom hardware designs. Being on our team means collaborating with an extremely bright group of people while tackling tough and interesting problems at the intersection of AI and hardware.
As a member of the SOC Integration team, you will help architect and implement global low power design features. You will also set low-power-friendly coding standards and guidelines for the rest of the RTL team to follow.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement low power features
- Define pre-silicon power modeling methodology
- Drive the definition of global power scenarios and define DV tests to exercise them
- Be the go-to low power expert for other RTL designers to consult with
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 7+ years of experience as an RTL designer or design lead
- Experience implementing power management features such as
- Clock skipping or throttling (thermal or power limits, power brake, etc)
- Static and dynamic voltage and frequency scaling
- Power islands or power gating
- Hierarchical clock gating
- Experience implementing industry standard flows like UPF
- Ability to understand a unique architecture and recommend both standard and novel power management techniques to improve efficiency
- Deep understanding of RTL coding techniques to minimize power consumption
- Track record of setting and enforcing standards across cross-functional teams
