Role: Ground Software Engineer (Acquisition Planning System & Cloud Infrastructure) Employment Type: Full Time Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E in Computer Science or a related field.

Role Description:
This role will contribute to the development of our Acquisition Planning System and the cloud infrastructure of the Ground Segment team.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain the Acquisition Planning System to enable highly optimized tasking of the satellite constellation.

• Interface with Flight Dynamics algorithms and develop APIs to consume flight dynamics data.

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

• Architect and optimize databases for efficient mission planning and execution.

• Ensure best practices in API design and database schema design for high-performance data handling.

• Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure in AWS using Kubernetes and Terraform.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant deployments.

Desirable Skills & Certifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

• Expertise in database design and API development.

• Experience working with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

• Candidates must share GitHub links to projects they have built and contributed to.

Skills/Requirements:

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.

• Proficiency in relational databases and schema optimization.

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment best practices.

• Experience in containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code.

• Proficiency with Git and familiarity with Jira.

• Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code following design patterns and SOLID principles.
