Role: Ground Software Engineer (Mission Control Systems) Employment Type: Full Time Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E in Computer Science or a related field.

Role Description:
This role will contribute to the development of our Mission Control System and Mission Operations System, responsible for monitoring, controlling, and coordinating the activities of our satellite constellation.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and maintain software for Mission Control Systems and Mission Operations Systems.

• Implement and optimize protocols and packet standards for satellite communication.

• Work with time-series databases to manage and process real-time telemetry data.

• Design and implement high-performance, multi-threaded, and concurrent systems in Java.

• Develop Python-based tools for automation and data analysis in mission operations.

Desirable Skills & Certifications:

• Strong proficiency in Core Java, including concurrency, multi-threading, and protocol implementation.

• Experience in working with time-series databases.

• Proficiency in Python programming with an understanding of object-oriented programming.

Skills/Requirements:

• Strong experience with Core Java, including threading, synchronization, and performance optimization.

• Knowledge of protocol implementation and packet handling.

• Experience working with time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, or similar).

• Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Docker-Compose).

• Proficiency with Git and familiarity with Jira.

• Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code following design patterns and SOLID principles.
