This role is based in New York City. We work together in person three days a week.

About the Role

The Firsthand Solutions Consulting team plays a pivotal role in driving growth and success by helping to bridge the gap between our cutting-edge new technology solution and our clients’ business needs. Solutions Consultants will develop an understanding of market requirements, collaborate with internal and external audiences to fully implement Firsthand’s products and services, and help commercialize our solutions. This is a multifaceted position encompassing diverse responsibilities, including technical integration, AI experimentation, project management, and strategic consultancy, and offers opportunities to contribute significantly to our clients' and our company's success.

You'll be responsible for:

Solution design and implementation

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges.

• Conduct in-depth needs assessments to identify opportunities for Firsthand.

• Develop customized experiments and solutions that align with client requirements.

• Work closely with the product management team to ensure solutions meet client expectations.

Technical implementation and support

• Determine how to access client data for input into our system.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients during pre- and post-sales processes.

• Work and consult with the client to determine and configure technical implementations and analyze results.

• Offer ongoing support to clients, addressing any technical issues or concerns that may arise.

Sales collaboration and proposal development

• Conduct product demos to showcase the functionality and benefits of Firsthand solutions.

• Create compelling and detailed proposals outlining proposed solutions, pricing, and implementation timelines.

• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate representation of technical aspects in proposals.

• Address client inquiries and concerns, providing technical explanations in a clear and understandable manner.

Training and documentation

• Provide training to clients on the use and maintenance of Firsthand solutions.

• Collaborate with Product Management to create training materials and documentation for internal and external audiences.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of demonstrated excellence in a similar role and tech company operating environment, ideally including adtech/martech experience.

• Ability to immerse in the inner workings of complex and innovative new technology like AI and rapidly become a subject matter expert.

• Passion for innovation and helping to define the future of media, marketing, and AI.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, including with clients, product management and engineering teams, and C-level executive audiences, with an aptitude for explaining technical concepts to non-technical people and demonstrating high professional integrity.

• Highly organized self-starter with the skills and zeal to take accountability for and leadership of multiple projects and competing priorities.

• Excellent strategic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Background in consulting and/or degree in computer science a plus.
