About the Company

Companies want to train their own large models on their own data. The current industry standard is to train on a random sample of your data, which is inefficient at best and actively harmful to model quality at worst. There is compelling research showing that smarter data selection can train better models faster—we know because we did much of this research. Given the high costs of training, this presents a huge market opportunity. We founded DatologyAI to translate this research into tools that enable enterprise customers to identify the right data on which to train, resulting in better models for cheaper. Our team has pioneered deep learning data research, built startups, and created tools for enterprise ML. Following our $11.65M Seed round last September, we've raised a $46M Series A led by Felicis Ventures. Our investors include Radical Ventures, Amplify Partners, Microsoft, Amazon, and notable angels like Jeff Dean, Geoff Hinton, Yann LeCun and Elad Gil. With over $57.5M in total funding, we're rapidly scaling our team and computing resources to revolutionize data curation across modalities.

This role is based in Redwood City, CA. We are in office 4 days a week.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Lead to to join our team and help build the operational foundation that will support our rapid growth. This role requires someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple responsibilities across project management, team operations, GTM efforts, and finance.

What You’ll Work On

• Project & Initiative Management: Keep things moving! Track milestones, tackle roadblocks, and bring teams together to make big things happen.

• Office & Vendor Operations: Oversee office logistics, supplies, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless daily operations.

• Sales & Customer Support: Assist with lead discovery, pipeline tracking, and customer engagement.

• Compliance & Insights Management: Support marketplace requirements and organize customer insights and feedback.

• Finance & Tax Support: Assist with financial reporting, vendor invoicing, reimbursements, and tax-related filings to ensure compliance.

• Event & Social Media Coordination: Collaborate closely with our EA to plan logistics for conferences/external events, as well as plan team-building activities, off-sites, etc and manage social media for company announcements.

• Team Success & Well-Being: Helping every team member feel supported, motivated, and equipped to do their best work. Creating a positive, thriving environment where everyone can grow and succeed.

About You

• 4+ years of industry experience.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent project management skills.

• Able to multitask and balance competing priorities in a fast-moving startup environment.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Proactive problem-solver who can identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements.

• Bring an owner's mindset to everything you do - you take initiative and drive results

• Comfortable working across different functional areas, from GTM and finance to culture and operations.

Compensation

At DatologyAI, we are dedicated to rewarding talent with highly competitive salary and significant equity. The salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000.

• The candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and interview performance.
