About This Role:

Crusoe is seeking a meticulous and data-driven General Ledger Accountant to own the various processes related to Cash accounting, Accrual Processes, and other accounting functions. As we scale our AI-first cloud and energy systems, managing our cash and accrual process with precision is critical to our financial integrity. In addition, helping develop efficient accruals and expediting the close process is top of mind.

In this role, you will sit at the intersection of Treasury and other Accounting Functions, ensuring that every transaction is accurately tracked and reconciled. You will be a key player in our month-end close and a steward of our Cash and Accrual transactions.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Cash Accounting: Review cash transactions, ensure completeness of cash entries, ensure completeness of cash accounts and perform monthly cash reconciliations (General Ledger to the respective bank statements).

  • Cross-Functional Reconciliations: Reconcile sub-ledgers or systems to the general ledger for accruals and other transactions.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate and own relationships with tax, treasury, fixed asset, and revenue accounting teams. Work cross-functionally to identify and accurately record complex accounting transactions.

  • Tax & Audit Support: Work with the Tax Team on direct and indirect monthly accruals.

  • Support external audit and due diligence requests.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Experience: 2–3 years of accounting experience.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Technical Mastery: Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP regarding cash, accrual processes, internal controls, and accounting best practices.

  • Data Fluency: Exceptional ability to manipulate and analyze voluminous amounts of data with speed and accuracy.

  • Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems. Excel skills are essential.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in the data center, energy, or heavy manufacturing industries.

  • Experience implementing or optimizing advanced excel functionalities such as Power Queries.

  • Experience with multiple systems such as Sage Intacct, FloQast, Coupa, and Kyriba

  • CPA license or candidate for licensure.

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $70,000 - $85,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
