About the role:
Crusoe is seeking a results-driven and analytical Category Manager, Field Services & OPEX to support Data Center Deployments & Operations through sourcing, procurement, and contract management for Field and Managed service categories. This role is critical for securing favorable commercial terms, managing contractual compliance, and enabling construction and operation teams to focus on service delivery and infrastructure uptime. We are looking for a motivated professional with a solid background in procurement, category management, or construction who can identify cost savings opportunities, manage vendor relationships, and support strategic sourcing initiatives. This is a full-time position based in Seattle (WA)
What You'll Be Working On
Compensation will be paid in the range of $151,800 - $184,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

What You'll Be Working On
- Supplier Relationship Management: Support the establishment and maintenance of vendor relationships; serve as the primary commercial point of contact for contract administration and commercial compliance
- Contract Negotiation: Support negotiation of service contracts and commercial terms with vendors to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and conditions that align with operational requirements defined by Construction & Operations
- Cost Optimization: Identify and drive cost reduction opportunities while supporting operational requirements such as deployment speed and service quality standards
- Vendor Selection Support: Support the vendor evaluation process by providing market analysis and technical vetting including both engineering and operations
- Spend Analysis: Analyze spending patterns and market conditions within Field Services and OPEX categories to inform sourcing decisions and identify negotiation leverage
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Construction, Operations, Finance, and other teams to align procurement with operational needs and business requirements
- Business Review Coordination: Coordinate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and vendor business reviews with stakeholders
- Risk Management Support: Work with Construction & Operation teams to identify supply risks and support the development of contingency plans for critical vendors to help ensure business continuity
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records, contract files, and reports on vendor commercial performance and contract compliance
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
- Experience: Approximately 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management, with demonstrated success in vendor relationship management and contract negotiation
- Procurement Skills: Demonstrated expertise in vendor relationship management, contract negotiation, and commercial terms structuring
- Analytical Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and Excel
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work effectively across teams
- Industry Background: Background in services or OPEX procurement, preferably in technology, cloud, or data center environments
- Operational Mindset: Ability to understand that in a live data center environment, operational requirements and safety/uptime concerns drive decision-making
- Compliance: Must be able to pass a background check
- Experience with Field Services, Maintenance, or Managed Service contract management
- Knowledge of data center construction and operations
- Experience supporting "white glove" or high-touch service delivery models
- Previous experience in a support function role within an operations-heavy organization
