If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
About the Role
Crusoe is seeking a Strategic Project Manager, Real Estate to serve as the primary operational engine for our SVP of Real Estate. This is not a traditional administrative role; it is a purpose-built partnership for a high-level operator who blends executive support with domain-specific intuition.
As the SVP’s most trusted day-to-day partner, you will function as an extension of their leadership. You’ll be responsible for managing high-stakes priorities, exercising delegated authority, and ensuring the Real Estate function operates at peak velocity. You sit at the critical intersection of strategy execution, professional judgment, and relationship management.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Prioritization: Architect and optimize the SVP’s workflow, ensuring their time is ruthlessly protected and allocated to the highest-impact land, power, and infrastructure initiatives.
Executive Proxy: Represent the SVP in internal and external forums. You will deliver updates, synthesize complex information, and act as a credible voice for the office of the SVP when they are not in the room.
Delegated Decision-Making: Exercise high-level judgment to manage approvals, coordinate urgent escalations, and make informed decisions within a defined scope to keep projects moving.
Mission Control: Serve as the central communications hub. You will draft executive-level correspondence, prepare briefing materials, and translate raw data into polished board-ready presentations.
Workstream Oversight: Track critical deal milestones and portfolio-level deliverables. You’ll keep a pulse on land acquisition, power procurement, and lease workstreams to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead special projects that require tight coordination between Legal, Finance, and Operations to drive commercial outcomes.
Operational Excellence: Proactively identify friction points in the Real Estate team’s workflows and implement the systems or communication rhythms needed to fix them.
What You Bring
Experience: 5–8 years in senior business operations, executive partnership, or real estate operations.
Domain Knowledge: A strong background (or deep interest) in commercial real estate, energy infrastructure, or large-scale industrial development.
Executive Presence: Proven ability to communicate with and influence senior stakeholders while maintaining absolute confidentiality and poise.
Project Rigor: Exceptional organizational skills. You should be comfortable navigating "the weeds" of a lease agreement while keeping the 30,000-foot strategy in view.
Technical Literacy: Proficiency with project tracking and RE tools
The "Force Multiplier" Mindset: A proactive, low-ego approach. You find professional satisfaction in making the broader organization more effective and scalable.
Why This Role?
This is a rare opportunity to embed directly within the executive layer of a high-growth energy infrastructure company. You will gain an unfettered view of complex commercial transactions and power acquisition strategies while playing a decisive role in Crusoe’s physical expansion. For a career operator, this role offers both high-level intellectual stimulation and tangible, industrial-scale impact.
