Define clear, buildable design specifications for runtime systems, tools, and AI-driven behaviors
Collaborate closely with engineers on features delivered through Unity and Unreal plugin workflows
Help shape designer-facing tooling and authoring workflows, providing expert tool validation for the games engineering team and maintaining a direct feedback pipeline to games enablement
Explore practical uses of LLMs, reinforcement learning, and AI-assisted behavior systems in games
Translate ambiguous product ideas into structured design solutions with clear implementation intent
Balance player experience, developer usability, and technical feasibility
Requirements
Senior-level experience in game design, with a strong emphasis on technical design or systems design, demonstrating industry-level proof of expertise
Experience working closely with engineers on implementation-heavy features
Strong understanding of systemic gameplay, runtime logic, and AI behavior design
Proven AI-tool centric approach to design and systems
Experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine
Clear and rigorous design communication skills
Strong interest in AI-driven interaction and behavior systems
Nice to Have
Experience with engine plugins, tools, SDKs, or middleware
Background in traditional game AI systems
